1. What is the Marriott Bonvoy Brilliant^® American Express^® Card Earned Choice Award?

Marriott Bonvoy Brilliant^® American Express^® Card Members are eligible to select a benefit as part of the Brilliant Earned Choice Award after reaching $60,000 in annual spend. Card Members can choose one of these options: five (5) Suite Night Awards; one (1) Free Night Award with a redemption value of up to 85,000 points; or a $1,000 discount on a Mattress & Box Spring Set from Marriott Bonvoy^® Boutiques. Card Members are eligible to qualify for the Brilliant Earned Choice Award effective January 1, 2024.

2. What’s the difference between the Marriott Bonvoy Brilliant^® American Express^® Card Earned Choice Award and the Marriott Bonvoy^® Annual Choice Benefit for Elite members? Am I eligible to receive both?

Effective January 1, 2024, the Brilliant Earned Choice Award is available to Marriott Bonvoy Brilliant^® American Express^® Card Members who reach $60,000 in annual spend. The Marriott Bonvoy^® Annual Choice Benefit for Elite members is a separate program for Marriott Bonvoy^® members who earn at least 50 Elite Night Credits annually. Card Members who meet both criteria are eligible to receive both the Brilliant Earned Choice Award and the Annual Choice Benefit.

3. How do I qualify for the Marriott Bonvoy Brilliant^® American Express^® Card Earned Choice Award? How will I know I am eligible to select my award?

Effective January 1, 2024, Marriott Bonvoy Brilliant^® American Express^® Card Members are eligible to select a benefit as part of the Brilliant Earned Choice Award after reaching $60,000 in annual spend. You will receive an email from Marriott Bonvoy^® letting you know you are eligible to make your benefit selection. Card Members can also visit choice-benefit.marriott.com/brilliant to learn more about the benefit and make their selection.

4. How do I select my Earned Choice Award?

Beginning January 1, 2024, Card Members who are eligible for the Brilliant Earned Choice Award can make their selection by visiting choice-benefit.marriott.com/brilliant.

5. I made my selection. Now what?

After you make your selection, you will receive a confirmation email with additional details for the benefit you selected.

6. Can I change my selection?

All Brilliant Earned Choice Award selections are final and cannot be changed.

7. What happens if I don’t select an award?

If a selection is not made by February 1 of the year following the qualifying period, the benefit selection will default to five (5) Suite Night Awards.

8. How do I redeem my Free Night Award?

9. What is Free Night Award Top Off?

Free Night Award Top Off allows you to add up to 15,000 Marriott Bonvoy^® Points to a Free Night Award that you have earned.

If using multiple Free Night Awards, you can add up to 15,000 Points per award per night.

Example: You would like to reserve a standard room at a cost of 46,000 Points per night, but your Free Night Award is only valid up to 35,000 Points. You can use an additional 11,000 Marriott Bonvoy^® Points to cover the difference.

To redeem the $1,000 discount off of a Mattress and Box Spring from any of the company’s participating Marriott Bonvoy Retail Brands, call one of the numbers below, based on your country of residence. Have the promotional code and the eligible Card Member’s Marriott Bonvoy membership number ready.
